Gayle and Lee on the Lovewell Post Bridal Blog!

So it's a long story, but I've never actually met Kate from the Lovewell Post.  However, that hasn't stopped me from recommending her a bunch after I started my break from taking on new weddings. How could I not?  She plans gorgeous weddings, and we definitely have a similar design aesthetic and a shared love for lace and other vintage touches!  So clearly I was beyond thrilled when she shared Gayle and Lee's roaring waterfalls wedding on her blog.  For more on this wedding blogged by me, click here.  All photos by the incredibly talented super mama Images Unveiled.

Easy Ways to Make Birthdays Special

Birthdays are so special, and we only get so many of them as parents where we can make them super magical.  Here are some things I've done that had a huge pay-off with the little people.

Funfetti pancakes with candles
Half birthday cakes - because really what's another reason to have cake?
